Are these original manufacturer plates?
Yes — every cover we sell is made using 100% original manufacturer plates.
We source these in two ways:
• Customers send in their original plates for refinishing, or
• We source brand-new OEM plates from verified third-party suppliers and recyclers
This ensures perfect fitment, factory tolerances, and authentic build quality — because the base plates are genuine
What exactly am I purchasing?
You’re purchasing premium replacement side plates / covers designed to fit your console model.
The console and stand itself are not included.
When will I get my order?
Each set of plates is made to order.
We don’t mass-produce or pre-stock painted inventory. Once your order is placed, your plates enter our refinishing process from scratch to ensure the highest finish quality.
This production time is what allows us to deliver consistent, luxury-grade results rather than off-the-shelf paint jobs.

Does installation require tools? will it void warranty?
No tools needed.
Installation is:
1. Slide off original plates
2. Align replacement covers
3. Snap into place
Takes : 2–3 minutes
No — side plates are user-removable by design, so swapping covers does not void Sony warranty
Product & Finish Process ?
Paint Process :
Each plate undergoes a 4-layer coating system:
1.Surface preparation & priming
2.Base color coat
3.Color leveling layer
4.Protective clear coat finish
Production time is approximately 8 hours per set.
Chrome Process :
Yes — our chrome finishes are completed using a true electroplating process, not chrome paint or wraps.
Chrome electroplating is highly technical and time-intensive.
The full process takes approximately 48 hours to complete
